About Me
Let me just start by saying that I completely love what I do! When I was given my first camera at 8 years old... I was in love with photography almost instantly. It did take a few years in my professional career to figure out exactly which direction works best for me. I have to say that people are my passion!
I used to think that I was completely a photo journalist. It wasn't until a few years in the wedding business that I realized what was my perfect style. Basically... to photograph people well, I believe that you need the perfect blend of photojournalism and beautiful portraiture. This applies to weddings, families, restaurant work, headshots, and even corporate photography. Anything and everything where people are involved.
Not every situation needs to be manipulated. At a wedding, for example, my primary goal is to document the day. Every detail is captured. Your wedding photos should tell a story. When the bride and groom receive their photos, they will be able to relive their special day from start to finish.
Photographing children has become another premier aspect of my business. However, I do it a little differently. I go to peoples homes and photograph their children in their own surroundings. Sometimes we play, meet their pets, or investigate hiding places. What ever it takes to make them comfortable with me and my camera. In the end... I have had great success with my in-home family portrait sessions.
